bow platform makes a neat job of housing the anchor beneath, notice it also acts a a bow exit point with walk through Pullpit, ( common on Scandinavian boats where anchoring at the stern then dropping forward on to a small Islet is common, and also herring bone nose in berths are common. )
Electric windlass has controls on deck,. as well as at each helm station. You can just see the hindges on the aft edge of the hatch that allows deck access to drained chain locker, NEW synthetic teak fitted to this bow platform just in August 2019
